Dr Harlina has served as a clinician educator for over 30 years. She  started her clinical career as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and  later dedicated herself to advance her teaching competency in  clinical education. She retired from her post as Professor of O&G  and Medical Education (Clinical Teaching) at Faculty of Medicine  UKM in June 2022.  

Her area of interest includes sexual & reproductive health, family  planning & contraception, sexuality education besides medical  professionalism & clinical reasoning.  

Currently she is the Founding Director of AKADEMI DR HAR, an  educational platform where she shares her knowledge, skills &  experience with the public. 

She has recently joined An Nur Specialist Hospital as a visiting O&G  consultant, focusing on Family Planning & Contraception and  management of women psychosexual problems. 

She has been appointed as a member in the Board of Directors for  Wanita Berdaya Selangor (WBS) and National Board of Population  & Family Development (LPPKN) , as well as in the Board of Trustees  for Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM).
