Introduction

**Dr. Muhammad Munawar Mohamed Hatta** is a distinguished **Consultant Emergency Physician** and **Senior Medical Lecturer** at the Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. With a wealth of experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Munawar serves as an Instructor for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support program under the American Heart Association's International Training Centre. His expertise in emergency medicine is complemented by his commitment to advancing medical education and patient care.

Dr. Munawar holds a Doctor of Emergency Medicine (DrEmMed) from UKM and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Humanitarian and Conflict Response at the University of Manchester. Throughout his career, Dr. Munawar has garnered significant experience, having previously held roles such as Visiting Consultant at An-Nur Specialist Hospital and Pre-Hospital Care Services Chief Coordinator at UKM Medical Centre. He is the Vice-President of the Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia and a member of the Shariah Advisory Board Panel at An-Nur Specialist Hospital. His research interests are diverse, focusing on the development of clinical frameworks for emergency settings and the legal frameworks for medical volunteers in Malaysia. Notable research projects led by Dr. Munawar include studies on the WHO Emergency Medical Teams' global classification process and the prevalence of Do-Not-Attempt-Resuscitation orders among COVID-19 patients. His contributions to the field of emergency medicine and humanitarian care have made him a respected figure in both the academic and medical communities.
